This new in box, model CW-1AB Component Video/Digital Audio Wall Plate Balun system allows one HDTV complete component video (YPbPr or RGB) signal (as well as SDTV) and one Digital Coax/ S/Pdif Audio signal to be transmitted via cost-effective unshielded twisted pair (UTP) Category 5, 5e, 6 cable in a point-to-point configuration.

Used in pairs, these HDTV Component Video - Digital Audio Wall Plate Baluns support 480i/p, 720p and 1080i video formats for hi-definition video applications.

The product allows four coaxial cables to be replaced by one Category 5 twisted pair cable, allowing standard structured cabling techniques to be used for neater and more streamlined cabling. It is perfect for home theater, auditorium, or small-business solutions for extending high-definition video feeds extended distances from their source with absolute minimal quality loss,if any. Please note, these extenders RCA jacks are color coded in RGB for Component Video and Orange for Digital Coax audio but may be used in a variety of applications where four RCA cables are required.
